I specialize in home organization, living and family rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, any part of your house that is in disarray. We'll sort through your possessions to decide what you need to keep and what you can let go of. Then we'll work on increasing functionality and maximizing efficiency. I'll also provide you with tips and ideas for maintaining your newly organized space.

For first time clients I offer a free consultation. What is a consultation? Our first appointment together we'll discuss what area of your house you want to get organized. I'll assess your problem areas and present you with a quote outlining the solutions I've developed for you, as well as the approximate amount of time the project will take and the cost. You'll then have an opportunity to review the quote and decide if you want to accept my services.

As a professional organizer I assist my clients in sorting through their possessions to decide what they really need to keep and what they can let go of.

When I went off to college I realized that to survive with some semblance of sanity I would have to be organized. I developed systems to keep my school work organized, so that I always knew what needed to be done and when. My living space was organized as well. My philosophy was, and is, "a place for everything and everything in its place." I would clean out our refrigerator weekly of anything past its expiration date, and neatly arrange what was left. Also, I could often be found rearranging the dishes in the dishwasher to maximize the load capacity.

Upon graduating from college I returned home and undertook the project of helping my parents get their house in order. I've also assisted my grandfather in sorting through a lifetime of possessions as he prepares to move to a small apartment at a retirement home.

I know letting go of your possessions can be tough. We get attached to our belongings and have a hard time parting with them. But don't worry, I come prepared. In 2005 I graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a bachelor's degree in psychology. Together we can work through and discuss why some things are harder to let go of than others. I'll encourage you to be practical rather than sentimental, but I'll never push you to part with something you're not ready to let go of.

So, if you're ready I can help you to accomplish change. But I'm not a miracle worker, and I can only help you as far as you're willing to be helped.
